Scandrett Regional Park: End of peninsular from Warkworth, past Snells beach and Algies Bay. Beautiful spot with outstanding scenery but very limited overnight parking, would pay to book first. Lots of interesting history and old buildings. Part of Auckland Regional Parks, $10 night or by season pass allowing access to all parks. Good to be self contained
